The US Army Corps of Engineers selected Weather All Roofing of Pierre, SD for the Foam Restoration and reroofing of the massive Hydroelectric  power plant. The power plant has 14 large tanks on the roof in two rows of 7. These are surge tanks, which act as buffers to smooth out the flow of water from the intakes. The 7 turbines that produce a total of 112-megawatts of electrical power.
The project started by repairing thousands of small blisters in the existing foam and coating. Weather All Roofing removed all the deteriorated areas. Also the removal of the current asphalt  roofs that covered the 14 large tanks sitting over 250 feet off the ground. The 14 roofs were rebuilt and new metal was placed over deteriorated areas and sealed in with ERSystems 2.7# Spray Polyurethane Foam. The entire Oahe Dam roof was pressure washed at 3000psi removing any dirt or debris that had accumulated over the years.

After the roof had been deemed watertight a base coat of ERSystems Eragaurd 1000 and a finish coat of ERSystems ERaguard 1000 was spray applied over the entire roof area. This highly reflective Energy Star certified product provides maximum performance keeping the building cooler, dry, and running more efficiently.
